Stephen Sexton

Director of Sales

Stephen (Steve) Sexton directs sales at Agricen's headquarters. Prior to his current appointment, he spent two years in Australia as National Sales Manager of Agricen Australia and Loveland Agri Products, promoting plant nutrition technologies to improve plant health and crop production in Australia. Previously, he held the position of senior technical sales manager at Advanced Microbial Solutions (now Agricen), focusing on Western Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma.

Prior to joining Agricen in 1999, Steve was an active partner of Mayo-Sexton Land & Cattle in the U.S., serving as the farm manager in a diversified operation (crops and livestock) primarily focused on irrigated alfalfa production for dairies. While there, he was involved with Agricen’s initial compaction studies that recorded beneficial corn yields for plots treated with Agricen’s solutions compared to conventional inner-row ripping.

Steve holds a BS in geography from Kansas State University. He earned an MS in geography/cartography from the University of North Dakota, where, as a Master’s thesis, he correlated deviations in annual average temperature and precipitation to the severity of chinch bug outbreaks in Kansas.
