Agricen Expands Leadership Team with Hiring of Director of Innovation and Director of Regulatory Affairs

Brian Cornelious, PhD, assumes new role as Director of Agronomic Training

PLANO, TX July 1, 2024 –Agricen, a leader in plant health technology, today announced the expansion of the Company’s leadership team with the hiring of Ryan Miller, PhD, as Director of Innovation and Gale “Scott” Baker as Director of Regulatory Affairs. As part of the expansion, Brian Cornelious, PhD, formerly director of applied sciences at Agricen, will now lead from a new position as Director of Agronomic Training.

"With the addition of Ryan and Scott to our leadership team and with Brian taking the helm in the newly created agronomy position, we are strengthening both our team and our ability deliver plant health innovations to partners across agriculture and related industries."

Dr. Ryan Miller has over a decade of experience across many facets of the agriculture industry, including field and lab research, technical product training, crop advising and business and product development. As Director of Innovation, he will lead Agricen’s Applied Science, Product Development and Product Management functions. Prior to joining Agricen, he previously held various development, research and product management roles at Stoller Enterprises, Compass Minerals, Corteva Agriscience and Dow AgroSciences.

Scott Baker has over 35 years of regulatory experience, with a background spanning EPA, OSHA and DOT compliance and work with sales, marketing and regulatory bodies in North America, Europe, South Africa, Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Latin America. In his new role, Scott will help Agricen craft and execute a global regulatory strategy.

Dr. Brian Cornelious has over two decades of agricultural research expertise, with experience spanning corn and soybean breeding and development, seed sales/marketing and field plot design, preparation and maintenance. Prior to his current role, he held the role of Agricen's director of applied sciences for more than a decade.
