In his role as Director of Business Development, Dan Schulz fosters, develops and deepens both existing and new relationships with industry partners pursuing licensing and co-development opportunities, with the goal of making a positive difference in the agricultural industry and the lives of the people who serve it.
Prior to joining Agricen, Dan held roles including associate director of strategic alliances at Valent U.S.A., manager of third-party contracts and corn portfolio for Bayer Seed Growth products, and crop protection and seed-applied solution customer care lead at Bayer Crop Science/Monsanto Company. He has also held marketing and sales positions within Monsanto Company, DuPont Pioneer, and Agrium (now Nutrien).
Dan holds an undergraduate degree in agriscience education from Michigan State University and a joint MS-MBA in food and agribusiness management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Purdue University.
