Director of Solutions Innovation

Job Description – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise projects for the research and development of biological-process technologies using serialized-biofermentation systems to improve plant health in agriculture and other industries.
• Manage the development of project scopes and plans for early-stage research-and-development.
• Direct the development of bioprocessing testing protocols in the lab and field.
• Oversee the collaboration with agronomists, greenhouse and bioassay scientists, and other scientists in related fields to assemble bioprocessing data from lab and field tests.
• Synthesize and evaluate bioprocessing and other scientific-test data for initial review and business-model development and evaluation.
• Support intellectual-property protection efforts by contributing commercial, scientific, and engineering perspectives.
• Guide the preparation and presentation of project updates for key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in plant science, chemical engineering, biological engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of biological-process research experience.
• Experience with serialized-biofermentation systems.
• Experience with managing early-stage research-and-development projects.
• Experience with synthesizing and evaluating scientific-test data.
